Palazzo Grassi and Punta della Dogana, inaugurated in 2006 and 2009, are two contemporary art museums in Venice. Both museums, restored by Japanese architect, Tadao Ando, alternate group and individual exhibitions. Palazzo Grassi and Punta della Dogana also share the extraordinary collection of François Pinault – one of the greatest collectors of contemporary art – with the public. The collection brings together over three thousand works from the 20th to the 21st century.
Palazzo Grassi and Punta della Dogana are committed to guaranteeing accessibility to its exhibitions and the activities of all visitors, with or without disabilities. In particular, there is a free service for deaf visitors (advance booking required) providing guided visits with guide or Italian signer. Every Saturday afternoon there are free workshops for participants aged 5 and above. An Italian language signer is available for these events (advance booking required).
Entry tickets for Palazzo Grassi and Punta della Dogana are reduced for people with a lower disability rating and for carers.
Entry is free for people with permanent disabilities.

Palazzo Grassi and Punta della Dogana can be reached, without architectural barriers from the jetties: San Samuele (Palazzo Grassi and Teatrino), and Salute (Punta della Dogana). Inside, the museums are totally accessible to visitors with physical difficulties and are complete with lifts, mobile ramps and wheelchairs.
